Nach nur wenigen Monaten Planung feierte das GERMANY SUMMERCHAMPS seine Geburtsstunde am … August 2007 als eines der (damals) wenigen freien und markenoffenen RC Rennen als Sommer-Highlight im Weserpark beim RCCT Münden.
Als Gemeinschafts Projekt der Organisatoren Holger Sparbier (RCCT Münden), Marcel Schmutzler (Raceport), Steffen Schaal (RacingArtCompany) und Patrick Walchhofer (RC-News)
war es jeher ein Rennen von Racern für Racer welches die größtmögliche Materialvielfalt und den Spaß am RC Car Rennzirkus in den Vordergrund stellte.
Bis 2012 trafen sich rund 500 Racer aus aller Welt zum Schlagabtausch in den unterschiedlichsten Rennklassen, xy Stunden Racing und ….
Nach über 12 Jahren Pause feierte das GERMANY SUMMERCHAMPS in 2025 unser großes COMEBACK.

The historic "three-river town" of Hann. Münden is located in the Göttingen district, almost at the most central point of Germany in southern Lower Saxony. It is picturesquely situated at the confluence of the Werra and Fulda rivers, which together form the Weser.
Surrounded by the Weserbergland and the Kaufunger Forest, Hann. Münden is today a state-recognized resort town that attracts numerous visitors from all over the world every year and combines history, nature and tourism in a special way.
The well-preserved historic town with over 700 half-timbered houses is one of the most beautiful in Northern Germany.
First documented in 1183, Hann. Münden was primarily known as an important trading and port city, playing a significant role in the Middle Ages due to its location on important waterways and trade routes.
The RCCT Münden e.V., which has been passionately dedicated to RC car racing since 1990, is located with its sporting home in the middle of the Weserpark in Hann.Münden Gimte, a stone's throw from the riverbed of the Weser.
The entire team of the club, including the Sparbier family, veteran Holger and his sons Kevin and Sören, is deeply rooted in RC-Car Germany and is known far beyond the borders of Germany for their commitment to the sport.
Over the years, the RCCT Münden has developed into an important venue for regional and national RC races and has been hosting the Germany Summerchamps since 2007. GERMANY SUMMERCHAMPS.
Showers are available at the nearby swimming pool (less than a 5-minute drive from the track).

What is not explicitly permitted is forbidden.
During the race, at least one starting number must be displayed on the windscreen.
The wheels must not be partially or completely obscured by parts of the bodywork.

Any driver who acknowledges and adheres to the SUMMERCHAMPS regulations is eligible to participate.
Membership in an umbrella organization is not necessary.
Each participant takes part in the race at their own risk and bears sole responsibility for all damages caused by them or their vehicles. By submitting their entry, the driver waives all claims for compensation for any damages arising in connection with the competition.
Each participant is responsible for ensuring they have adequate insurance coverage.
For minor participants, the parents are liable.
LiPo batteries may only be charged with a commercially available charger suitable for LiPo batteries, with an integrated or external balancer.
LiPo batteries may only be charged and discharged in a commercially available (fireproof) LiPo bag, pouch or container.
External heating of the batteries is not allowed.
No modifications whatsoever may be made to the LiPo batteries used; the housings must not be opened or damaged under any circumstances.
The maximum charging current is 12 amps.
The maximum discharging current (at a charger/discharger) is 20 amps.
! Any violations may result in severe penalties, up to and including exclusion from the event.
The maximum charging/open-circuit voltage must not exceed 8.40V before the start of the race.
